SUMMARY:EGF Webinar: Mental health and wellbeing in virtual events
DESCRIPTION:In many ways\, technology has been a lifeline during the pandemic\, keeping us connected while we maintain a physical distance from one another. But in other ways it has been a transition that we have not been prepared for\, leaving many suffering from burnout\, anxiety\, depression and webinar fatigue. \nThe South African Depression and Anxiety Group (SADAG) reported the number of distress calls they received doubled at the start of lockdown\, while the World Economic Forum highlights that technology can both contribute to mental health issues – but also presents possible solutions to improving mental wellbeing. \nGet ready to learn about the neuroscience behind how technology affects humans. She will also unpack how we can better use it to maximise its benefits and avoid its pitfalls. We believe this knowledge is critical to hosting successful virtual events and managing remote teams. \nFollow the link below for more details and to meet the speakers. \nRegister
