Global Exhibitions Day 2020 (#GED2020) is taking place on 03 June 2020, under the theme: Exhibitions are Key to Rebuilding Economies.
UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, chose this theme to draw attention to the fact that exhibitions are going to be a critical tool to support and grow industries after the destruction that COVID-19 is causing.

To help bring the theme to life, UFI is building a map that will show the power of exhibitions through stories. Everyone in the industry is encouraged to help them achieve this, by sharing their exhibition stories with them.
UFIβs announcement on the initiative notes: βSubmit your pictures of presidents cutting ribbons, new product launch demos, videos of business leaders giving keynotes, smiling faces of innovation award winners, recipients of education grants β¦ all the moments that help to tell the story. Let’s bring together our stories to show how exhibitions connect people and build businesses.β
The map will go live on globalexhibitionsday.org for everyone to see on Global Exhibitions Day.
