UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, has partnered with MBB-Consulting, a training specialist, to deliver a new educational programme for exhibition organisers. The UFI-Exhibition Management School (UFI-EMS) will provide high-quality education and training, thus helping to promote the professionalism of the global exhibition industry.
The faculty of industry experts are well positioned to marry both global insights and regional expertise, so that the teachings can be adapted to specific regional and local requirements.
The new curriculum was developed with an exhibition industry task force, made up of senior members from different exhibition organisers across all UFI member regions. This means the content is designed by exhibition organisers for exhibition organisers, making it relevant and practical.

Additionally, the faculty of industry experts are well positioned to marry both global insights and regional expertise, so that the teachings can be adapted to specific regional and local requirements.
Programme topics include strategy, sales, marketing, leadership, international business development and more.
UFI and MBB-Consulting have previously worked together to develop an education programme, for the Exhibition Management Degree. The new UFI-EMS will now replace the UFI-Exhibition Management Degree.
“The new UFI-EMS programme is an intense, time and budget-efficient course, designed to provide ongoing training and development for mid-senior level employees.”
“Now is the perfect time to take that next step and evolve UFI’s educational offerings to the next level,” says Mary Larkin, UFI President. “The new UFI-EMS programme is an intense, time and budget-efficient course, designed to provide ongoing training and development for mid-senior level employees.”
Matthias Tesi Baur, the founder of MBB-Consultin, adds, “We are extremely proud to bring our skills and experience in industry education to our partnership with UFI. This programme will play a key role in attracting and retaining the best talent in our industry.”
The inaugural programme will run from 28 September to 23 October 2020, and will be held online.
