Air Seychelles has announced it will operate passenger services from Johannesburg to Maldives between 4 December 2020 and 9 January 2021, giving travellers a chance to start planning their summer holidays.
Flights will depart from Johannesburg every Friday night, with an intermediate stop in the Seychelles before continuing to Velana International Airport in Male (MLE). This gives travellers the opportunity to stop off and visit two island destinations on their trip. Return flights from the Maldives are scheduled for every Saturday. The total flying time is under 9 hours.
Additionally, Air Seychelles will be operating three non-stop flights per week between Johannesburg and Seychelles in December.
Those holding tickets issued before 31 December 2020 can now benefit from unlimited date changes with no penalty fee.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the airline has extended its waiver policy to provide travellers with more flexibility. Those holding tickets issued before 31 December 2020 can now benefit from unlimited date changes with no penalty fee.
To help protect both travellers and the airline staff, all travellers will need to complete the airlines’ health self-assessment form via airseychelles.com 24 hours prior to departure, provide proof of a negative RT-PCR test result that was conducted no more than 72 hours prior to the flight, and wear a mask for the full duration of the flight.
