STRONG PR, Marketing and Events Celebrates Collaboration Between Volvo Trucks South Africa and Novus Media at NAMPO 2026 | The Planner

STRONG PR, Marketing and Events is proud to celebrate an exciting collaboration between two of its clients, Volvo Trucks South Africa and Novus Media at this year’s NAMPO Harvest Day, one of the largest agricultural and trade exhibitions in the Southern Hemisphere.

Known for bringing together the latest in agriculture, innovation, machinery and business networking, NAMPO attracts thousands of visitors from across South Africa and beyond each year. This year, Volvo Trucks South Africa has created a striking and welcoming presence at the event, showcasing five impressive truck models to potential buyers and industry stakeholders.

STRONG PR, Marketing and Events conceptualised and created the Volvo Trucks exhibition stand experience, including a hospitality zone designed to encourage connection, conversation and comfort. Guests visiting the stand are treated to complimentary coffees, while exploring the Volvo Trucks offering in a relaxed and engaging environment.

What makes this year’s exhibition even more special is the collaboration between Volvo Trucks South Africa and Novus Media’s newly launched Afrikaans weekly newspaper, Die Papier.

As part of the experience, visitors to the Volvo Trucks stand are invited to enjoy a copy of Die Papier while relaxing with a coffee in the hospitality area, a collaboration that beautifully brings together storytelling, people, travel and proudly South African experiences.

STRONG PR, Marketing and Events currently manages trade marketing and PR support for Novus Media and its portfolio of publications. Die Papier, which launched only 11 weeks ago, has already started building momentum as a fresh Afrikaans weekly newspaper focused on storytelling, culture, current affairs and community connection.

According to Mika Stefano, Director of STRONG PR, Marketing and Events, the collaboration represents exactly the kind of partnerships the industry needs more of.

“What excites me most is seeing two brands come together in such a natural and meaningful way. We are living in an age of collaboration, and there’s something incredibly powerful about watching clients support one another and create shared experiences. Both Volvo Trucks and Die Papier are passionate about South African stories, South African journeys and South African people. To see guests sitting with a coffee, paging through Die Papier while experiencing the Volvo Trucks stand, that’s the kind of authentic connection people remember.”

Stefano adds that the partnership highlights how brands can move beyond traditional sponsorships and create experiences that feel human, relevant and memorable.

“At STRONG PR, we always believe experiences should feel real and connected. This collaboration feels exciting because it makes sense. It’s warm, it’s welcoming and it creates conversation. We are incredibly proud to have helped bring it together and excited to see where the road takes us next.”

NAMPO 2026 continues until Friday 15th May, and visitors are encouraged to stop by the Volvo Trucks South Africa stand to experience the hospitality zone, explore the latest truck models and enjoy a coffee with a copy of Die Papier in hand.
