The South African Concierge Forum Gains National Recognition with Invitation to Join FEDHASA | The Planner

The South African Concierge Forum is proud to announce its official invitation to join FEDHASA.  The invitation was extended by Gustav Pieterse, Chairman of FEDHASA Inland which represents the hospitality sector across Gauteng, Free State, North-West and Limpopo -marking a significant milestone for the concierge profession in South Africa. In this role, he driges Gustav actively drives industry collaboration, advocacy, skills development and sustainable growth initiatives that strengthen the sector’s contribution to South Africa’s economy.

Representing the Forum within FEDHASA Inland will be Masood Sadulla, a prestigious Golden Key Member and Chief Concierge and Guest Experience Manager at the Saxon Hotel, Villas & Spa, alongside Deon Prinsloo and Kagisho Ditira, Founders of D&D Concierge Consultancy.

This appointment sees D&D Concierge Consultancy stepping into a representative role for hotel concierges within one of the country’s most established and influential hospitality bodies for the first time

Founded in 1949, FEDHASA has long served as the unified voice of South Africa’s hospitality industry, representing a broad network of establishments, including hotels, guesthouses, restaurants and conference venues.  Through its regional structures and national presence, FEDHASA plays a pivotal role in advocacy, policy development, transformation, and skills advancement across the sector.

D&D Concierge Consultancy, known for its bespoke concierge training, consulting and industry development initiatives, has been instrumental in elevating the standards and visibility of concierge services locally.  The consultancy works closely with hotels, luxury establishments, and concierge professionals to enhance guest experience, operational excellence and service delivery.
