The Event Entrepreneurship course is a 6-week masterclass that focuses on the fundamental business skills required to build an enduring brand in the meetings and events industry.
At the start-up phase of any business, strong business acumen is critical for success. This course will take you through the key foundational competencies that are necessary to enable you to get your business off the ground.
The meetings & events industry has evolved significantly over the past 2-3 years. The Event Entrepreneurship course will teach you how to identify focus niche areas in the emerging ‘new look’ of our industry. This module is aimed at enabling the learner to “build for the future” and not replicate a dying past.
The course is heavy on innovative design thinking. The curriculum then focuses on fundamentals such as:
• Pricing your services
• Marketing your business
• Pitching and closing deals
• Recruiting and Sub-contracting
• Developing partnerships to accelerate your growth
