Maropeng has teamed up with Toadbury Hall (the exquisite 25ha country estate offering beautiful accommodation and conferencing facilities) and Hot Air Ballooning SA, to offer guests the ultimate winter weekend adventure in the Cradle of Humankind.
Embark on a voyage of discovery at the Maropeng Visitor Centre and learn about the origins of humankind, before exploring the Sterkfontein Caves where ‘Mrs Ples’ and ‘Little Foot’ were discovered. Afterwards enjoy some high-flier game spotting above the magnificent Cradle Game Reserve in a hot air balloon.
The winter special includes a night at the five-star Toadbury Hall on the banks of the Crocodile River, just a half hour’s drive from Johannesburg. On Saturday night you’ll indulge in a mouth watering dinner at the country estate – where only the best culinary classics are on offer.

The special will run till end September and is only available on weekends. The total cost of the package is R3 635 per person sharing.
