Overall Events recognised for their excellent service

Overall Events & Communication, which has been connecting people through business events since 2009, was recognised as a preferred business event organiser within Nelson Mandela Bay and the Eastern Cape region at the Nelson Mandela Bay Business Event Awards held on 1 November 2022.

This 100% women-owned business has been growing steadily over the past 14 years, and has gained numerous medium- to large-scale clients who they assist with their internal and external stakeholder relations and communication projects.

The team attributes their successful business journey to a love for connecting people and a ‘can do’ attitude. Claire Kivedo, the company’s managing creative director, says, ‘’We enjoy creating great gatherings that matter, and strive to ensure our stakeholders expectations are exceeded.”

Claire adds, “We are determined and committed to incorporate 100% sustainable event greening solutions to all of our events and projects and so far have succeeded with a majority of our clients when implementing their events and conferences. There is so much more we can do to reduce our carbon footprints daily, and we have seen the results in action, which motivates us to do more of it. Every choice makes a difference no matter how small.”

Their team has hosted national and international conferences, exhibitions, and a mulitutde of stakeholder engagements within the Eastern Cape, Western Cape, and Gauteng. Their network has expanded over the years which means that they have been able to provide more value to their clients where it is needed.

“We look forward to the next 14 years of growth and continued trust in our services,” concludes Claire.
