Meet at Spier Wine Farm and let the fresh farm air and free-range living stimulate your strategic thinking. Just 20 minutes from Cape Town International Airport, you’ll enjoy all of the convenience but none of the hassle of coordinating a meet-up in the city.
Spier’s venues satisfy multiple group dynamics, accommodating intimate gatherings of a handful of people up to larger meetings of up to 30 attendees. Back-up generators make your meetings immune to load-shedding.
Historic buildings, modern meeting equipment, hearty catering options, award-winning wines and fun-filled activities give you space to connect with your team. Regenerative in the way they farm and do business, Spier will make your meeting good in every way.
Whatever you choose, Spier will take care of you while you take care of business.
The Manor House
A favourite venue on the farm is the recently restored Manor House. The ‘Grand Old Dame’ of Spier is one of the oldest buildings on the farm and is available for your exclusive use. Old-world charm meets contemporary local art in this dynamic space – just take a moment to marvel at Wim Botha’s ‘Mieliepap Pieta’ – sparking discussion and fostering collaboration.
Perfect for intimate gatherings, business lunches or strategic sessions, the venue accommodates 6-24 guests, with two meeting rooms, a drawing room and dedicated team to keep your party well fed and comfortable. The shaded exterior courtyard is a lovely spot to take a quick break and soak up some sunshine.
The Riverhouse
Spier has one of the largest collections of contemporary art in the country and The Riverhouse is a beautiful starting point from which to enjoy it, with more than 400 Creative Block artworks from emerging and established artists. Being around so much creativity is sure to ignite your own blue-sky thinking.
Accommodating 16-30 people, The Riverhouse offers vibrant indoor areas and farm-fresh outdoor spaces alongside the beautiful Eerste River. There is also an observatory for breakaway huddles or meals.
Taste goodness
Inspired by the seasonal produce of the farm, expect colourful ingredients, nutritional meals and creative menus from chefs who prefer simple cooking that transcend backgrounds and generations. A lot of what you’ll see on your plate is grown at Spier, and everything else comes from local, ethical suppliers that share Spier’s values.
Enjoy your meal at the meeting venue or reserve a table at one of the restaurants on the farm. Alternatively, find a spot outside for a beautiful al fresco experience.
Fostering team spirit
When the meeting and eating are done, why not take the group on a team-building activity on the farm. Cycle or run on farm roads, harvest veggies from the Spier Food Garden or learn about regenerative farming while whizzing around on a Segway. Try your hands at wine blending to see who can create the best flavours, meet birds of prey at Eagle Encounters, or simply stroll around the farm on a guided art tour.
Whatever you choose, Spier will take care of you while you take care of business.
