Be Treated At Spier’s Winemaker dinners | The Planner

Spier has launched an exclusive series of Winemaker dinner that are held in the farm’s beautifully restored Manor House and hosted by Spier Cellar Master Johan Jordaan together with a specialist winemaker from his team.

Established in 1692, Spier is one of the first wine farms to have been established in the Cape. The farm has made its indelible mark on the history of wine in the Cape, with Spier’s Neil Joubert being one of the founders of the celebrated Stellenbosch Wine Route in 1971.

Being set in the Manor House, this exclusive series of dinners celebrates this illustrious history as the hosts will share special stories from the cellar and look back on their very own wine-making journey. The events kick off on 2 February and this particular dinner is entitled: “Sowing the Seeds: An Organic Wine Story”.

Guests will be treated to a four-course menu that is expertly paired with wines from Spier’s collection. This promises to be a very intimate experience as seating is limited to 22.
