MasterClass success and upcoming events
Following the triumph of MasterClass 23 in Frankfurt, titled “Future-proof Your Career in Exhibitions” in November 2023, MasterClass 24 in North America, “Invest in International Exhibition Excellence,” is eagerly anticipated. Scheduled for 16 – 17 May 2024, this event is being organised in collaboration with The Experiential Designers and Producers Association (EDPA).
Steve Riches, Chair of the IFES Education Committee, expressed excitement about the continuation of the educational momentum with MasterClass 2024. He highlighted the committee’s unwavering commitment to enriching the industry through collaborative knowledge-sharing and innovation. This upcoming MasterClass is a testament to their dedication to nurturing the next generation of exhibition professionals, equipping them with the skills and insights needed for international success.
Empowering global collaboration
Set against the backdrop of Nth Degree in Atlanta, GA, MasterClass 24 aims to bolster international cooperation and partnerships within the exhibition sector. Guided by industry veterans from across the globe, the event will provide hands-on learning experiences to enhance participants’ understanding of international exhibition practices and encourage sponsored support from industry leaders.

Fostering next-gen collaboration
In alignment with the spirit of collective progress, IFES will collaborate with IAPCO, AMC Institute, and AIPC at the IMEX Joint Association Partners Next Gen Workshop on 13 May 2024. This initiative aims to unite ambitious young professionals from the Meetings Industry to forge a forward-thinking business events network. The workshop, taking place in Frankfurt, will offer attendees valuable learning and networking opportunities to enhance their skills and encourage industry-wide collaboration.
Uta Goretzky, IFES Executive Director, underlined the importance of the IMEX Joint Association Partners Next Gen Workshop for Project Managers seeking to broaden their industry knowledge and connections. She emphasised IFES’s ongoing commitment to providing educational resources and fostering international partnerships to shape a future of global synergy, driving excellence and innovation in the exhibition and events industry.
