Brahman Hills has once again earned recognition for its role in creating unforgettable weddings; this time walking away with the award for Best Upcoming Wedding Venue at the 2025 TopVendor Wedding Awards.
The glittering ceremony took place on Wednesday, 10 September at the Moonshot Café in Menlyn, Pretoria, where guests gathered in formal, all-black glam attire for an evening of cocktails, entertainment and celebration of South Africa’s leading wedding venues.
According to Onwaba Gonyora, Director at Brahman Hills, the 5-star Midlands destination was also nominated in several other prestigious categories, including Best Wedding View, Best Reception Area and Best Ceremony Area. ‘We’re so grateful to TopVendor for the recognition as well as to every single couple over the years who has entrusted us with their most important day – we couldn’t be prouder to be part of so many forever moments,” she says.
Gonyora explains that the decision to enter the awards was driven by a long-held belief that Brahman Hills has been a wedding venue of choice for many years. Wanting to put that belief to the test, the team entered the TopVendor Wedding Awards – and the recognition affirmed it. The award stands as a celebration of the creativity, passion and dedication that shape every dream wedding at Brahman Hills.
It also adds to Brahman Hill’s growing list of achievements in 2025, including recognition at the Destination Deluxe Awards and winning the Renewable Efficiency – Green Initiatives category at the KwaZulu-Natal Top Business Awards. It also follows the international recognition of Brahman Hills’ gardens as an RHS Partner Garden.
