Weber Bros Entertainment are proud to be bringing ‘AUSSIE – The Australian Circus Spectacular’ to South Africa in 2016.
WBE is one of Australia’s largest touring outdoor theatre productions events company and the WBE Director, Harry Weber has previously toured the Great Euro Circus in Australia. Harry was also a part of touring productions in Australia such as Cats: The Musical, and Grease: The Arena Spectacular. In 2015, Weber Bros Entertainment spent a year touring the Great Euro Circus and developed their latest international production, AUSSIE: The Australian Circus Spectacular.
The show is a family-friendly show with no animals and modern slapstick comedians in the place of the scarier traditional clowns. AUSSIE blends traditional cirque, vaudevillian slapstick comedy, and modern extreme stunts; showcasing the off-beat, cheeky, daring, and boisterous nature of the Australian spirit.
AUSSIE features one of the world’s only human cannonball act, firing the stuntman right over the top of the crowd. The show also features stunning acrobatics on the ground and in the air. Lovers of all things high-octane will be thrilled by the Globe of Death, in which up to four motorbike riders encircle a daring dancer before the sphere splits in half.
The show concludes with high-octane FMX stunts, in which the freestyle riders jump over the Globe of Death and beneath the roof of the arena.
