We will be heading to Tembisa to help the Tshepang Care Centre and are calling on all volunteers who want to give a little something back to the community, to come and help us paint, do some general maintenance work, play with the children, and even help plant a large vegetable garden for the orphanage.
Please invite all your friends and family to come help. If you cannot attend, any donations would be appreciated.
We require the following:
VEGETABLE SEEDLINGS: Pumpkin, cauliflower, broccoli, spinach, tomatoes, potatoes, onions, spring onion
HERB SEEDLINGS: parsley, thyme, basil, rosemary
Children’s clothing they range in age from 2 to 18 and there are around 7 orphans but 60-150 children they care for

PVA Paint I need bright red, bright blue, bright green and bright yellow. As well as black and white
Paintbrushes, Rollers and Trays
Plastic ‘drop sheets’
Overalls (sizes & QTY) from sml to xxl and as many as possible. Around 30.
Vegetable seedlings & seeds, compost, fertilizer etc.
Bus or ‘shuttle service’ for the day to drive volunteers to the orphanage and back to meeting point

It will be a fun day out. Directions to the orphanage are rather impossible to get and you cannot find it on GPS. Once you have confirmed your attendance, we will be arranging a convoy or bus to drive volunteers to and from the orphanage.
