Ingwenyama Resort has launched the first phase of their grand scale development to the existing 73 room resort situated on the outskirts the tourist town. The first guests have come and gone in the brand new 24 rooms with resounding success and brilliant feedback. This is the first of a four phase project which will be completed over the next 2 years. The resort will see an addition 44 standard rooms, and the addition of a 1000 seated conference centre.
These 24 guest rooms are located to the East of the current resort and are constructed specifically to accommodate groups. A dedicated check in area is located at the rooms with coach access. The first floor rooms are accessible by ramp. The interiors were designed in a contemporary style, with the use of 100% cotton duvets, separate bath and shower, balcony with outdoor furniture and luxury floor tiles. The rooms are equipped with flat screen televisions which offer 12 channels, air conditioning and mini bar fridges. All rooms offer twin three quarter beds, which can be converted to king. We are able to accommodate third person sharing in all 24 rooms. The rooms overlook the garden pond, high performance sport fields and gorgeous lowveld gardens.
Martin Tyschen the General Manager of Ingwenyama expressed his delight with the new development. โOur versatile resort offers so much, perfect for sport touring in a highly attractive location with easy access to the Mbombela stadium. Our facilities offer everything from location for pre-tournament and pre-match training to the perfect team building breakaway in a central location between Nelspruit Mbombela Stadium, the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport and the Panorama routeโ
The redevelopment of Ingwenyama has been a response to the huge demand for international and local groups requiring quality facilities nearby the Mpumalanga attractions and the Kruger National Park. Tyschen says that it was clear that a dedicated group wing development was called for.
