Go West is an event for event professionals, so naturally the organisers are under considerable pressure to push boundaries and deliver a truly exceptional experience for their delegates. And judging from the response, this is exactly what they have been doing.
One of their great ideas to steal inspiring ideas used at the 2019 event was a mixed seating arrangement for The Main Stage, including couches and a variety of low and high tables and chairs. These assorted seating options were arranged so that the lowest seating was available next to the stage (the couches), and gradually increased in height the further back you went (to the high tables and chairs). The seats also surrounded the stage like a horseshoe, with the result that the set-up emulated an amphitheater. Regardless of where you sat in the room you would have a good view – with the added advantage of being able to choose the style of seating you find the most comfortable!
