This year, Fast Company South Africa, an innovation, business and technology magazine, will bring its Most Innovative Companies (MIC) issue to life with an awards gala, conference and exhibition. The inaugural 2020 innovation awards will highlight South Africa’s top 25 most innovative organisations, while the objective of the conference and exhibition it so explore how innovation and technological breakthroughs can enable South Africa to achieve its National Development Plan 2030 goals.
Wesley Diphoko, the newly appointed Editor-In-Chief, says: “Fast Company will, for the first time, celebrate South African innovators and innovative companies. The MIC conference and awards will bring the innovation and technology community together to map out how they can contribute to addressing national challenges.”
Nominations for the awards are now open, and candidates from all industry sectors – from large multinationals to start-ups – are welcome.
An independent judging panel will determine twenty-five finalists, out of which the top five companies will receive honours.
All three events will be hosted at the Cape Town International Convention Centre 2 on 5 March, and a variety of delegate packages are available.
