If you are passionate about food, it’s time to grab your apron and enter the Jacaranda Clash of Kitchens at Rand Show 2020. This reality cooking competition will see 125 teams, each made up of two talented people, compete live for the glory or winning – as well as R150 000 in cash and prizes.
The entrants will battle it out over six intense days of elimination rounds at the 2020 Rand Show’s new Foodie Zone. Each team will receive a mystery basket of ingredients to create their dishes with, and will be judged on the creativity, taste and presentation of their dishes. To help them handle the heat, mentor judges will provide them with support and feedback during the process.
After this gruelling first round, a final 32 teams will make it through to the finals, where celebrity judges and Chefs chosen by the SA Chefs Association and Vicky Crease Catering will decide who will win the Jacaranda Clash of Kitchens title and grand prize.
Easylife Kitchens is sponsoring all the workstations, ensuring the contestants are fully equipped to perform at their best. And when the Rand Show 2020 wraps up, these workstations will be donated to a charity.

Fill in the details – which includes a description of your signature dish, a team photo with your dish, the recipe for your signature dish (which will be included in an online recipe book), and 125 words on why your team should be selected to compete for your share of the R 150 000 in prizes.
