The International Finance Corporation (IFC), Department of Tourism, and Tourism Business Council of South Africa (TBCSA) and all its member associations collaborated to produce a survey to quantify the extent of the impact of COVID-19 on the tourism sector, as well as how effective the support has been, and what kind of help is still required.
1,610 respondents completed the survey, and the report can be downloaded HERE.
The findings have been shared widely with key decision-makers in government, financial institutions and development partners, to help inform the effective design of policy and support to your business.
A further two surveys are planned to span the next 12 months to track the ongoing impact and progress.
