Help protect Africa’s Wildlife with Ride4Rangers | The Planner

Across the world, every one of us is experiencing the impact of COVID-19. In Africa, the halting of tourism has had a devastating economic impact which is threatening the livelihoods of millions of people. It has also halted many conservation efforts which are reliant on tourism, and which are necessary to protect the future of the continent’s iconic wildlife such as elephant, rhino and lion.

Mother Africa needs to be protected so that there are still wildlife reserves left after this is all over. Which is why the African Travel Industry has come together to support African Rangers and wildlife by cycling together with the aim of riding the cumulative distance 30,000 km – the equivalent of cycling around Africa.

Whether you are a African safari guests, fellow wildlife enthusiasts, conservation champions or cycling fanatics – you can take part in this!
