EPFIC 2020 – the 10th Expo Project Fair for International Cooperation (Nanjing, China)2020 – was successfully held from 19 to 21 August in Nanjing Air-hub International Expo Center, where it attracted a record-breaking attendance of 1 300 visitors, including nearly 300 trade visitors.

The show is co-organized by the People’s Government of Lishui District of Nanjing City, China International Conference and Exhibition Magazine Agency. Now in its 10th year, it has established its reputation as a must-attend event for exhibition bureaus, exhibition associations and exhibition enterprises from across the country, and this year attracted Nanjing, Changsha, Hangzhou, Xiamen, Yiwu and other exhibition cities to participate as groups.
During the 3-day event, a total of 20 parallel activities were held, and seven annual reports of the exhibition industry were released.
It was agreed that, while the industry had suffered a major blow, all cities should support the resumption of exhibitions and meetings under the new normal conditions.
Additionally, 38 government exhibition bureaus from 24 cities were invited to attend a seminar for leading exhibition cities, where the impact the pandemic had had on them was discussed. Due to travel restrictions, many foreign guests were unable to attend in-person this year, and instead sent video messages to share their views and ideas for the industry’s growth and way forward. Among these were Mary Larkin, President of UFI; Marco Spinger, International Marketing Director of AUMA; and Aloysius Arlando, President of AIPC.
The event closed with the Golden Five Star Awarding Ceremony and Networking Dinner, where more than 1 000 participants gathered together.
