New strategic partner for MICE Academy | The Planner

Hackle Brooke Conference Centre on Conrad in Craighall Johannesburg has become the latest strategic partner in support of higher standard initiatives within the southern African MICE industry.

Commented the Academy’s Helen Brewer: “We are delighted to welcome Hackle Brooke onboard as we commence a relationship which covers every aspect of working closely with the key personnel for greater bottom-line benefits”.

During March, The Event Industry Summit which attracted over 200 event individuals from a variety of sectors was a Hackle Brooke Conference Centre initiative, designed and developed by young, passionate staffers.   Managing Director Nigel Sand takes a broad, long-term view of marketing together with the sales process. “Current marketing tactics of a conference centre such as Hackle Brooke is not something that can be done overnight – it is a long-term step-by-step undertaking – between experts in the field where we can gain on-going higher visibility as well as extensive guidance and knowledge plus  ultimately building relationships by turning potential business into firm clients”.

The Academy’s online CPD Programme is proving popular with more event practitioners subscribing to accumulate credits aligned to the National Qualification Framework. Continuing professional development enables event practitioners to update and/or gain knowledge while simultaneously accumulatin credits and being rewarded and recognised accordingly.

Through the Academy – Hackle Brooke will be represented at Markex between the 10& 12 June at the Sandton Convention Centre. MARKEX is the highly-successful marketing showcase with an impressive history which attracts over 11,000 key visitors that are seeking a range of MICE supplies and services. /ends
