Kievits Kroon ideal venue for winter conferences | The Planner

The team at Kievits Kroon Country Estate, just outside Pretoria, has put together a host of winter treats for conference delegates this season to ensure their comfort and warmth during their event.

“There’s no better place to host a conference this winter,” says Kievits Kroon managing director Alan O’Leary. “We plan to keep  your delegates warm and invigorated with winter treats like chef’s delicious hot soup at tea-break, homemade rum and raisin fudge on the conference tables, and hot chocolate and marshmallows.

Every evening from 5.30 to 7.30pm there will be drinks and canapés served in front of the fire in the Lord Charles bar, and a pre-dinner glass of the estate’s sparkling wine.

A menu of heart-warming winter comfort food has been planned for lunch and dinner at Kingsley’s Restaurant, including casseroles, roasts and curries. After dinner, delegates will be offered truffles and a night cap from the liqueur trolley before they move across to the bar, or retire to their cosy heated rooms with quality linen and duvets, thick towelling robes and hot chocolate on the tea and coffee tray. Hot water bottles and extra blankets will be available on request.

“Add to this our heated conference rooms, outstanding conferencing facilities and personalised service from a professional team, and your winter conference will be a memorable event,” says O’Leary.
