Description

When Magoebaskloof Hotel was built in 1937, an unspoiled setting was chosen for the hotel’s location with glorious views extending to Duivelskloof, Modjadji and beyond. The hotel was built among indigenous bush and trees. It is situated on Magoebaskloof Road, between Polokwane and Tzaneen in the Haenertsburg region.

Catering

The Tlou Restaurant was named after the indigenous Sotho Tlou tribe and is reminiscent of times passed. The restaurant has two fireplaces that enhance the warmth and ambience on chilly evenings. Large windows open up onto a balcony that looks over the Magoebaskloof Valley. This warm and inviting dining area offers á la carte dining, buffets and, on special occasions, a carvery. The cuisine is an interesting mix of local area favourites such as trout, and good old-fashioned comfort food.

Guests will be treated to the famous 'silver mist' that appears early mornings and late evenings.
