Last month the Mercedes Benz Restaurant Awards announced 20 nominees for the Top Ten Eat Out Restaurants in SA. Last night at the glittering awards ceremony in Cape Town, the Top 10 restaurants in South Africa were revealed.
The Top 10 Eat Out restaurants in South Africa for 2014 are:
1. The Test Kitchen – the 3rd year in a row for Luke and his team
2. Five Hundred – 2nd in 2013’s top 10
3. The Tasting Room – came in at number 9 in 2013.
4. Mosaic – nominated in 2012 but was excluded in 2013.
5. Jordan – came in at number 6 in 2013.
6. Overture – came in at number 7 in 2013
7. Rust en Vrede – placed number 3 in 2013
8. DWEleven13 – nominated in 2013.
9. The Restaurant at Newton Johnson (new)
10. Terroir – was absent from last year’s nominations
