The SAB World of Beer (WOB) has been re-awarded a five-star rating by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa.
The conference and beer tour facility based in Newtown, Johannesburg is one of the city’s top tourism attractions.
“We have been able to declare ourselves as a five-star facility every year since Nelson Mandela opened the doors of the SAB World of Beer in 1995,” says general manager Tony Rubin.
The tourist attraction and conferencing venue has been fascinating people of all ages with its unique offering which sees guests journey through the history of beer in Technicolor glory.
The WOB is open from 10:00 – 18:00, Monday to Sunday as well as public holidays. Guests can enjoy a fun, interactive and informative tour of the WOB after which they can overlook the Johannesburg skyline from the Taproom, the upstairs restaurant and pub.
