The 2015 Event Industry Summit aims to unite event industry stakeholders and qualified corporate buyers and provide a platform for industry-related topics to be discussed by the leaders in the industry, ultimately growing the power of the event industry.
Delegates can expect many informative discussion panels with industry experts on a wide range of industry topics. There will be three sessions with each session having a brief scene-setter followed by a panel discussion lead by a seasoned facilitator.
PANEL 2 SPEAKER
Thami Motlhabane is an avid student and mother with a passion for eventing, communications and marketing.
Thami started off in the field of accounting but got bit by the creative bug and commenced her career in 2008. She holds an undergraduate degree in Communications Science, a post degree diploma in marketing management, an honours degree in integrated organisational communications and is currently a masters student in the field of communications.
Her career history has seen her hold positions such as client relations manager at E-voucha and looking after all major insurance companies within the SADC.
Thami has an intense goal and intention to change the communication platform within the tourism industry and her direction in life is driven to ensure that young women are not only provided guidance to become better and stronger females in the world but the industry and to ensure that whatever tools she has are shared.
For Thami dreaming is only the first step but action is where reality lies.
