Business today is very much about influence – and if you are not an influencing force in your sphere of business, you have much growth ahead of you!

In another remarkable achievement for the Southern African Association for the Conference Industry, our own CEO, Mr Adriaan Liebetrau, has been selected to determine who some of the country’s most influential business leaders are.

The upcoming Africa’s Most Influential Women in Business and Government Awards seeks to recognise the women who are leading African enterprises that are truly making waves. The awards cover a vast array of sectors to bring to light the tremendous contribution women are making in modern-day Africa. Passion, inspiration and excellence in their field will determine which of the nominees ultimately receive the Awards’ top accolades. Mr Liebetrau has been chosen to be a member of the elite judging panel, being a leader of an influencing organisation himself.

The CEOTitans – Building Nations Awards 2016 are also approaching, and Mr Liebetrau has also been selected as part of the evaluation panel. SAACI was recognised in last year’s Titans – Building Nations Awards, with Mr Liebetrau being the overall winner of his category. He received acclaim for his exceptional leadership of SAACI, taking the organisation to new heights.

We offer our congratulations to Mr Liebetrau for this recognition of his excellence and influence in business! His understanding of enterprise growth, collaboration and passion has earned him several accolades in the past. His selection for the two awards judging panels is yet another testament to the fact that our organisation’s leadership is world-class. We would like to extend our well wishes to all of those who are nominated, being recognised for their exceptional contributions to their respective fields within the African business sphere.

Nominations for both awards ceremonies are open until the end of January, with any woman in business or elected government being eligible for nomination for the Africa’s Most Influential Women in Business and Government Awards. Men in business can stand for nomination to the CEO Titans – Building Nations Awards.
