This years EXSA awards ceremony lived up to expected hype and didnt fail to deliver on rewarding those who had excelled in 2012. With an overwhelming turnout, the room was packed with the whos who of the event world.
The evening was officially opened by EXSA Chairman, Nigel Walker, who applauded all members on a great year and reminded us all why we love what we do and that with such dedicated individuals the industry is in very safe hands. It was then onto the highlight of the evening with numerous awards being handed out for custom stands, system stands, companies, employees and the events themselves. As usual all categories were judged by an independent panel and the winners where certainly most deserving. Robert Walker, Business Development Manager of Complete Exhibitions applauds, Complete Exhibitions would like to congratulate all winners of the EXSA Awards. The standard of both events and stands in 2012 was surely world class, and as an industry we can hold our heads up high.
Complete Exhibitions is the recipient a new award for 2012 winning the Best Large Stand in the Green Awards category. Walker says, Complete Exhibitions was honoured to be recognised in this new category. Greening and environmental awareness are an everyday fact of life, we strive to deliver sustainable solutions and to be recognised for this was a huge honour. The award was bestowed on Complete Exhibitions for their set up of Sasol: Olifants In-Situ Display. Walker explains, This stand had numerous elements that made it sustainable for example fabric print which are reusable and the use of a motion sensor that controls the entire stands electrics, therefore preventing unnecessary electrical usage when there werent visitors.
With the traditional end of year slow down just around the corner, the EXSA Awards truly was a memorable evening with lots of networking happening long into the evening. It was a great way to recognise the industry as whole. Complete Exhibitions would like to thank EXSA for a superbly run event and we look forward to a great 2013.
