Protea Hotel Hatfield has just completed work on a new guest lounge and two new conference venues to service the great demand for meeting spaces in the state capital. The hotel is situated in the trendy and up-market suburb of Hatfield. One of the newest hotels in Pretoria, the property is ideally positioned close to business centres, the Union Buildings, embassies and the University of Pretoria.
Protea Hotel Hatfield GM Etienne Potgieter says the two new conference venues are located on the hotel’s first floor. Each is able to accommodate 15 delegates and is equipped with state-of-the-art data projectors and screens, note boards and unlimited complimentary Wi-Fi.
This brings to three the number of conferencing venues offered at the hotel.
The new contemporary guestlounge is also located on the first floor and is a comfortable place to hold an informal meeting over coffee, relax or simply catch up on the day’s emails with the hotel’s complimentary Wi-Fi.
Danny Bryer, Director of Sales, Marketing and Revenue for the Protea Hospitality Group, says Protea Hotel Hatfield is one of approximately a dozen hotels that have undergone renovations, extensions or refurbishments this year.
“We work closely with hotel owners to ensure we stay at the leading edge of hospitality in order to remain relevant by anticipating, meeting and exceeding our guests evolving needs and to maintain our position of most trusted quality hotel brand in South Africa and across the continent.
“Protea Hotel Hatfield’s new offerings will bring even greater numbers of conference delegates and guests through its doors, servicing the demand for quality accommodation and meeting space in Pretoria.”
The Protea Hotel Hatfield has 119 contemporary rooms designed to offer fashionable yet comfortable accommodation. Every room has an en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning, colour LCD satellite television, Wi-Fi and a secure digital safe.
