Christmas and New Year are special occasions at Tau
Guests are spoiled with a festive traditional home-cooked Christmas feast for lunch and each guest receives a small memento of the experience, while Old Year’s Eve is as lively an event at Tau as it would be in any bustling metropolis!

A DJ and dancing follow a tasty meal and delectable desserts, as new, and old, friends take in the New Year together.

Says a recent guest: “My husband and I stayed at Tau in March for five nights for what can only be described as the experience of a lifetime. The staff, game drives, rooms, grounds, food….everything was amazing. We were travelling with our daughter, her husband and our three grandsons and our ranger, Kenneth was fantastic. He went the extra mile every game drive to make the experience memorable, he was patient with the kids and a mine of information about the animals, the game reserve and South Africa. A real highlight was our visit to Supingstad schools with Tumi and Kenneth to learn more about the schools and the work of the Tau Foundation. All round, an experience not to be missed!
