Event Greening Forum annual conference details | The Planner

The Event Greening Forum is hosting their annual conference on 24 February – the day before Meetings Africa.

It is a half day event packed with information on responsible tourism, with a specific focus on business events.

The keynote speaker will be by Les Carlisle, Group Conservation Manager of &BEYOND.

He will be asking the question: Can responsibility also be inspiring?

The real story is that responsible and sustainable tourism can be so much more than just a business it can and should make a difference and inspire both staff and guests. It is not one single action that is important but the accumulation of lots of small things that make a real difference, no matter how small.

Care for the land, the wildlife and the people and focus on give more and take less – give more to community development and conservation and take less from the environments that support us. The very best way to make a difference to wildlife and rural communities is to visit the reserves.

Les will be one of the many speakers participating in the Event Greening Forum conference and will be followed by the World Cafe Session and the Panel Discussion.
