The Rand Show 1984

The Rand Show is back in 2014 to deliver yet another iconic show to celebrate its rich heritage.

A truly iconic South African brand, the Rand Show has been part of the fabric of the lives for four generations of South Africans, making memories for 120 years. “In our 30 years, we’ve been privileged to host this well-loved event and watch how it has evolved over time,” Craig Newman, CEO of Johannesburg Expo Centre  explains. “It continues to grow with popularity and we look forward to yet another successful show this year.”

The largest event of its kind on the continent, the Rand Show enjoys the support of some of South Africa’s largest and most prestigious companies. These organisations make the Rand Show an essential part of their marketing and communication strategies because it consistently provides valuable exposure, creative promotional opportunities and direct engagement with the largest audience available at any consumer event in the country.

From 18-28 April, show-goers can look forward to an 11 day extravaganza packed with entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. “Last year we experimented with a shorter schedule,” Newman says. “This year we have decided to revert back to a longer line-up in order to take advantage of all the holidays in April.”
