Visit Ethiopian in Joburg | The Planner

Why not join JoburgPlaces this weekend for its Fashion District & Little Addis tour?

Little Addis is the Ethiopian Quarter of the city: Ethiopian restaurants, Ethiopian coffee, Ethiopian music, Ethiopian jewellery and clothing stores galore.

It is one of the most interesting parts of Joburg City and the tour is something everyone should experience. We start off from the JoburgPlaces Turret and walk through part of historic Joburg before taking a Rea Vaya bus to the Fashion Kapitol in the Fashion District.

Here we visit Joburg’s most famous Shweshwe fabric store and do some high-end and bargain fashion shopping too. Next up is a visit to the mesmerising Ethiopian Quarter, known as Little Addis where you can ‘shop till you drop’. The tour includes lunch at one of the best Ethiopian restaurants in town – the meal is vegetarian. We then have coffee on the balcony of another authentic Ethiopian Restaurant with a great view of the hustle and bustle of the street below.

You will feel as if you have gone on an exotic holiday by the time we return in the afternoon.
