Africa’s first Nile Crocodile Zip Line has opened | The Planner

Croc City Crocodile & Reptile Park is fast becoming one of the most exciting attractions in South Africa, where visitors take part in thrilling activities such as holding a baby crocodile, touching exotic snakes and getting up close and personal with a tarantula!

Located five minutes from Fourways in Johannesburg, Croc City also features the brand new and exciting Croc City FlyOver – the first Nile Crocodile Zip Line. Designed for the brave at heart, the zip line is a brand new adventure where visitors fly five metres above the ground over the crocodiles!

Croc City’s Snake Shows give visitors the chance to learn about various snakes such as Puff Adders, Rinkhals and Snouted Cobras and find out interesting information about snake handling, snake bites and the conservation of snakes and other reptiles.

The park also features beautiful facilities that can be utilised for birthday parties, social -, corporate – and music events. This includes the main crocodile park with wood fired pizza restaurant and next door the Croc Beer Boma. The Croc Beer Boma is a setting with a bush feel that offers special days such as Wicked Wednesdays, Thirsty Thursdays, Happy Fridays and Sport Saturdays. The Beer Boma is open from Wednesdays to Sundays and offers a variety of delicious pizzas included Croc City Specials, Vegetarian, Meaty and Spicy.

“The park and restaurant are open seven days a week from 09h00 to 16h30, including public holidays. Come and experience your adventure today!” says owner Anton Lötter.
