At the Online (Continuing Professional Development) CPD Programme 2013/14 Awards held at the Sandton Convention Centre last week – Fizz Marketing attained a hat trick with three staffers accumulating the required number of credits by the June deadline date.
Celeste Whitaker started her career in the event management industry in 1991 at Computer Faire, SA’s largest IT exhibition.
Fizz Marketing was established in 2000 and over the years Celeste has grown her client portfolio with diligent attention to detail. Fizz Marketing’s client base today is formidable indicating the high positive referrals associated with effective event management. The online CPD Programme is based on each subscriber taking time to read pre-test event management material and thereafter to be tested via a series of questions and one selected multiple choice answer. Two thirds of the questions within each test have to be scored correctly in order to gain verifiable credits in having absorbed the particular reading material. Incorrect answers guide the subscriber as to why their answer is incorrect in accordance with the reading material and sometimes delving a little deeper into the event practitioner’s knowledge base.
