The event head of the Institute of Mining & Metallurgy will detail the site inspection challenges experienced by a multi-million rand end-user on Friday 8 August at Hackle Brooke Conference Centre.
Despite labour issues – the mining industry remains the prime back-bone of the African economy as mining operations increase throughout the continent.
The Academy’s CPD (Continuing Professional Development) subscribers comprising primarily of end-user buyers are flexing their muscles within a multi-billion rand MICE spend industry.
Commented The MICE Academy- a Breakfast Briefing session presenter: ‘In most instances, site inspections have dismal outcomes due to a lack of a full understanding of the clients out there and their background and specific requirements. We will delve deep into the differences between clients as well as venue’s features and benefits’.
Added advantages for site inspection participants are extensive:
- Opportunity to gain valuable credits and certification which are aligned to the NQF (National Qualification Framework);
- Venue participants who comply with effective site inspection requirements will have the opportunity of a trial inspection at their venue with a selected buyer’s circle of corporate and association end-users;
- Participants own site inspection blue print for internal implementation.
The site inspection briefing motivation is the brain-child of Cardinal Leisure who’s site inspection invitations over several years has proved questionable in the manner in which the inspections have been undertaken
Further Breakfast Briefings on Site Inspections are planned both internally as well as public in future.
