Gearhouse South Africa has for the 4th consecutive year won the Best AV Supplier Award at the EXSA (Exhibition and Event Association of Southern Africa) Awards held at The Forum, Bryanston on 26th November.
“Exhibition work is a very exciting market for us because our service appeals on both the Exhibitor and the Organiser levels and we have solutions for pretty much every size and type of display” says Gearhouse South Africa’s Marketing Manager, Robyn D’Alessandro. “We have seen the Exhibition Market taking an increasingly strong position in the marketing mix of late. There is a growing trend for buyers to seek to engage with sellers in a face-to-face scenario and exhibitors are using a variety of technology combinations to engage the senses in that interaction. Luckily Gearhouse has been able to continually diversify to accommodate the needs of this industry.”
IVTM’s Graeme Marshall was also present and took home the award for Best Employee – AV Supplier.
“I have been in Sales with Gearhouse South Africa for 4 years”, says Graeme “but have recently moved across to IVTM at the Sandton Convention Centre in more of an Account cum Project Manager role, which allows me to work alongside our clients throughout the process. I am finding the new role to be a perfect fit. Hopefully my enjoyment of the job is what is coming through for our clients as well. Here’s to many more years of serving them well.”
