The artist booking agency based in Cape Town, Big Talk Entertainment, introduces the all-female vocal trio, The X-Tremes. They are an ideal entertainment option for any function.
They launched the act in August 2012. The women were initially from On Broadway with their act The Original Tons followed by some time spent at Madame Zingara.
“We felt we wanted to rename the group and re-launched them with a new name, new look, and new repertoire. We brought Musical Director and Grammy Nominee Cedric Sampson on board to add his African flavor to the act,” says Big Talk Entertainment.
The women have done exceptionally well over the past few years, opening up for Gloria Gaynor with the launch of O Magazine, travelled abroad extensively and most recently performed The X tremes Tribute to Motown at the Sun City Theatre.
The X Tremes covers genres such as burlesque, jazz, african, rock, motown and disco. Their act is approximately 60 minutes in duration and can be split into two 30 minute sets.
