The Expedia Awards are based on stayed production between April 2014 and March 2015, and serve to recognise and honour partners that have excelled on the Expedia Inc and Hotels.com platforms in a variety of categories.
“Sun International is honoured to receive the award for the top hotel chain in South Africa in this year’s Expedia Awards. South Africa’s hospitality industry is competitive with a diverse choice of quality hotels and destinations to choose from, many of which enjoy a presence on Expedia’s online booking platforms.
“We look forward to working with Expedia to notch-up our hotels in Johannesburg and Cape Town as top destination producers,” says Anton Van Wyk, Revenue Manager of Sun International.
“The awards allow us to celebrate those partners who have shared their own challenges and allowed Expedia to assist them to reach the coveted international traveller through its innovative marketing solutions, and drive growth. We congratulate Sun International on achieving three awards in this year’s awards programme,” adds Ross Kata, Expedia Inc’s Area Manager.
