An event crucial to the events industry | The Planner

Having been described as an even that will permanently alter your perspective on the events industry, the annual Event Industry Summit (EIS) is set to take place on 1 October 2015 at Hackle Brooke Conference Centre.

EIS aims to unite event industry stakeholders and qualified corporate buyers and provide a platform for industry-related topics to be discussed by the leaders in the industry, ultimately growing the power of the event industry.

This conference will grow buyer’s knowledge base by fully informing them of the current state of the event industry as well as promote ongoing interaction between industry buyers and sellers. Delegates can expect many informative discussion panels with industry experts on a wide range of industry topics. These will include the major challenges faced by the industry such as:

  • MICE venue challenges: With and without accommodation links
  • Independent planners: Full service, broker and agent
  • Salaried buyers (end-users): External supplier/service selections and internal systems

Invited session panelists together with potential participants, who have expressed great interest in being involved in the second EIS, will provide their perspectives from the various briefs provided.

“The Event Industry Summit programme is such an undertaking. A bird’s eye view of programme progress to date is likely to generate much interest and indeed early bookings.

“Invited session panelists together with potential participants, who have expressed great interest in being involved in the second EIS, will provide their perspectives from the various briefs provided,” says MICE Academy‘s Helen Brewer.
