Sandton’s finest meeting place by day and spirited lounge by night has officially opened its doors and patrons can expect luxury, refined wines, gourmet trendy tapas, exceptional service and the finer things in life on the menu at L’Opulence.
With décor inspired by the heights of Dubai, L’Opulence has been described as the epitome of indulgence in the heart of Sandton in Nelson Mandela Square. Rich navy and gold finishes create an environment suited to those with a particular preference for living an opulent lifestyle.
The L’Opulence menu is a tapas feast and this chic, simple and contemporary way of catering sets the lounge apart from traditional eateries.
Executive chef, Mark Hoberman, has created the perfect trendiest tapas menu for the venue – a veritable feast of sophisticated flavours, modern and varied options – complimented by fine wines.
The menu combines traditional tapas favourites like halloumi and with a new spin by pan frying it with smoked chili and roasted sweet pepper dressing, charred garlic and herb crostini to spice things up.
The succulent barbeque baby back ribs with a honey, soy, prune and ginger glaze are sure to quickly earn the status of a most ordered dish. The chipotle glazed lollipop wing and blue cheese dip along with the Yakatori satay, coconut, lemongrass, curry cream and roasted peanuts are two further dishes that are expected to receive applause from patrons.
Catering to those who will stop at nothing to ensure their evenings and weekends are spent immersed in the good life, L’Opulence will host smooth jazz sessions on Sundays. Theme events are also on the cards with dazzling nights lined up, all of which will be defined by their innate elegance, sparkling champagne, and delicious food.
Not just about parties, the lounge will be open from 12:00pm on Monday to Sunday, and will provide the perfect setting for meetings, light lunches and a break from the mundane.
