It all started when the corporate/association buyers requested a Professional Planner minimum standard be drafted for adherence by a wide-range of decision making clients.
With this motivation in mind, the Event Industry Summit (EIS) 2015 programme has developed.
The 2015 EIS has planned a programme which is likely to have far-reaching consequences mainly due to the high level of participation within a comprehensive voting system.
It has been proven time and again that the gathering of the event management industry in all itโs sectors be it venues, planners. services together with end-users/buyers can have a major positive effect going forward.
The industry were requested to vote on which organisations should be included on two panels representing (1) venues and (2) independent planners. The response has been phenomenal โ with the organisers hard pushed to select from the keen interest and popularity of such a wide range of differing types of venues and planners.
The voting closed early in August with selected panelists from both venues and planners respectively receiving their briefs with final confirmations before mid-August.
The 2nd Event Industry Summit will take place at Hackle Brooke on Thursday 1 October. It is indeed a case of watch this space for ongoing developments. Registrations have commenced and can be done online to be a part of the process to develop minimum professional planner standards. Seating is limited.
