Women in MICE 2015 was a day to remember for The MICE Academy. Not only was it a great occasion which took place at Hackle Brooke Conference Centre with 40 top women honoured for their outstanding contribution to the MICE industry – it was a tremendous accolade for Helen Brewer to receive the Lifetime Achiever Award from the hugely successful Meetings magazine.
With an extensive and growing readership, Helen Brewer – in receiving the award – urged the experienced and knowledgeable planners who packed the venue in their droves to give back by contributing to the best practices and sharing learning points gleaned the hard way over many years.
The Women in MICE Awards held last week can be regarded as one of the major highlights of the year in the South African Events industry. 2015 is the second WIM (Women in MICE) and the growing number of sponsors and high attendance proves conclusively that WIM can only go from strength to strength.
Hackle Brooke proved to be the perfect host venue with outstanding cuisine plus pink and white décor throughout.
