South African Airways (SAA) is well prepared for the influx of travellers following Meetings Africa taking place next month at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg.
SAA recognised as the leading airline carrier in Africa, is offering the Step Up programme that gives passengers booked in economy class the opportunity to bid for an upgrade and fly business class. This programme allows passengers to tell SAA how much they are willing to pay for the upgrade. At least 24 hours prior to departure passengers will be informed of the outcome of their bids subject to space availability.
As Meetings Africa is such a key initiative on the business events calendar, it is significant that SAA, the national carrier, leverage the opportunity to amplify its offering. SAA also wants to highlight certain offerings geared to getting exhibitors, buyers and delegates to where they need be, on time, safely and comfortably.
Meetings Africa attracts buyers and visitors from around the world who are interested in doing business in South Africa and the rest of the African continent. The trade show attracts over 2 000 visitors, corporates, media and international and African buyers over the three-day period. Exhibitors can make new contacts, engage with existing clients and network with the industry. The theme for the 2016 trade show is ‘Advancing Africa Together’.
