The airline said in a statement that the direct service would be operated three times a week. Reservations are already open. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, flight BP232 will depart Cape Town at 10h00 to arrive in Maun at 12h15. Return flight BP231 will depart Maun at 13h40 to arrive back in Cape Town at 15h55.
Air Botswana operates scheduled domestic and regional flights from its main base at Sir Seretse Khama International Airport to cities and regions such as Kenya, Malawi, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Zambia.
Air Botswana Corporation is Botswana’s state-owned national flag carrier, with its headquarters is located in Gaborone. Air Botswana has been loss-making for several years, and there have been various attempts to privatise the company, although with newer aircraft and improved performance generally, the losses have reportedly been reducing.
