On The Go Tours – the award-winning tour operator specialising in locally lead group tours and tailor-made holidays to worldwide destinations – has extended its portfolio with new tours developed across Eastern Europe.
After witnessing an uplift in enquiries for destinations which link their Balkans and Russia product, On The Go Tours has broadened its offering into Eastern Europe with seven newly curated tours, adding an additional 12 destinations to it’s portfolio.
Carl Cross, managing director at On The Go Tours, said “Our Balkan and Russia tours have recently become very popular and produced a large number of enquiries linking the two together. With Eastern Europe recognised as a cultural entity, we are able to offer a wide range of tours which showcase beautiful locations and also offer tours which explore the lesser-visited countries.”
With the first tour scheduled in April 2016, travellers can expect to explore an array of countries including Serbia, Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary and Austria. These countries join the current European destinations of Turkey, Croatia and Bosnia with additional locations added to Bulgaria and Estonia.
The seven Eastern European tours will range from seven to 19-days which will transport adventurers to some of the region’s most breathtaking locations. Offering flexible itineraries and guided tours, customers will veer off the beaten path and enjoy authentic experiences, uncovering the very best of Eastern Europe. Prices start from R11,730 per person.
With so much to explore in the region, tour highlights include the opportunity to see unspoiled landscapes and iconic landmarks, as well as visiting charming medieval towns, Wieliczka Salt mines, ‘Dracula’s Castle’ and the Old Town of Riga, a UNESCO World Heritage Site more than 800 years old.
Beginning as a two-man start-up in 1998, On The Go Tours has grown into a small global company, with a purposeful local ethos and an international team of travel professionals to ensure the highest level of service.
