3D Shell, the shell scheme exhibitions supplier in the 3D Design group, successfully delivered no less than nine shows during May, most of them within the last two weeks of the month, proving once again its ability to support exhibition and fair organisers regardless of the tight time frames.
According to director, Dylan Solomon, his teams tackled the following with flair: Food & Hospitality; GIBS, the career fair at the GIBS Campus; Agricultural Career Fair; Grand Designs Live; Microsoft Dynamics; Africa’s leading occupational safety and health expo, A-OSH EXPO 2016, and the co-located exhibition Securex South Africa; My Broadband; the Crocodile Conference in the Kruger Park; and the SA Bike Festival.
He said: “All-in-all, we built some 5200m2 shell scheme stands, 31 special areas and 26 package stands during the month plus – with sister company Switched-On Electrical – handled all the outdoor electric work at the SA BiKe Festival,” said Solomon.
“Then, for Grand Design Live, we delivered a 3D Shell first. For the first time, we constructed the entire infrastructure from chipboard panels with a cladded wooden facia. This was very well received by exhibitors and the organisers alike, and we’ve decided to offer this cost-effective solution to other organisers.”
