Kicking off with a sleek branding and logo make-over this luxurious lodge embarked on a 30 day facilities refurbishment to enhance the authentic yet deluxe experience afforded to guests.

Some of the exciting new changes include the complete installation of a high quality environmentally friendly timber flooring product in the reception area, lounge and a revamped Mabula Whisky Lounge and renewed terrace deck.
The famous Lekgotla – Mabula Whisky Bar a perfect venue for pre-dinner drinks, received a complete revamp with a sophisticated new look, complemented with modern easily accessible stacking timber doors, well suited for a cosy winter evening or to appreciate a light summer breeze.
Following careful design consideration the distinctive Mabula Terrace Deck, now boasts a refreshed energy with natural Everwood composite timber flooring as well as new comfortable superior quality terrace furniture. These spectacular finishes are all complemented with a magnificent view of the striking ancient Fig Tree, making the Mabula Terrace Deck a perfect spot for a light lunch or sundowners after an adventure-filled naturally wild Mabula experience.

While the Mabula Whisky Lounge and Terrace venues were being revamped guests were treated to world-class service at our Ko Bojelong Restaurant filled with the most divine cuisine and a distinct African ambience”, explained Wouter.
